We are officially ONE WEEK removed from our 59th Annual Convention, and if you feel anything like we do… you still weren’t ready for it to end!
Well, thanks to our Chairman, Bishop Albert L Jamison, Sr., and the GMWA Media Department, in partnership with Supreme Creative Agency, the memories of #GMWA59 can live on!

Houston Mass Signature Choir Robes

HOUSTON MASS SIGNATURE CHOIR ROBES

New members will have 90 days to purchase a Houston Mass Choir robe. Navy suits and dresses should only be worn by new members within their first 90 days. After 90 days if you are somehow waiting to obtain your robe, you are welcome to sing with Houston Mass on engagements that do not require a robe. For engagements that do require a robe, we would like to encourage you to still support Houston Mass by showing up to the engagements and assisting the choir if asked. When you have your robe you will be welcome to sing on engagements that require a robe. Seasoned members please notify Rev. Green if there is a situation with your robe.
 

PROPER ATTIRE WITH THE HOUSTON MASS SIGNATURE ROBE

Gentlemen

  • Black or Navy Blue pants/slacks and Black or Navy Blue shoes

  • Shirt collars should NOT be seen above the collar of the robe 

  • No ear jewelry

Ladies 

  • Black or Navy Blue shoes

  • No pants

  • No ear jewelry

If you are considered out of uniform at any engagement where uniformity is required, you will be asked by Dwayne Hunter, Diane Walker or JR to adjust your attire to meet uniform standard. You may be asked to be on the Houston Mass support team for that engagement. If so, please take it in love and simply support Houston Mass for that engagement. 

Robe Maintenance

  • Robes should show up to engagements clean, free of excessive wrinkles and have no offensive odors.

  • Every 3 engagements robes should be professionally cleaned.

  • If you need to be fitted for a new robe or if your robe is in need of alterations, please call Choir Robe Creations and make an appointment. The total cost of a new robe is $250.00. You can pay as little as $50.00 down when you go get fitted.

How to sign up on the website.....

Anyone can view the website.....Just go to www.houstongmwa.com

If you would like to recieve emails from the website, you must sign up. To sign up just go to www.houstongmwa.com. In the upper right hand corner of the page is a sign up button. Click it and follow the directions. Your email is your user name, then you create a password...Once you do that you are in the database.

If you use a company email, your emails might not go through because some companies reject certain emails..
